ONE-TIME PROGRAMS

All of the one-time programs listed below are approximately 45 minutes in length and are taught by a qualified Health Educator. One-time programs are not measured by pre- and post-test.

Bullying 101: Understanding Bullying

Designed for grades 3-6, Understanding Bullying teaches students the definition of bullying, the difference between bullying and arguing, and situations that can cause hurtful behavior.

Witness Strategies: The Power of Witnesses

Designed for grades 3-5, The Power of Witnesses teaches students the importance of witness intervention in bullying situations.

 

Middle School Programs

Let’s Talk: Communication Styles

Designed for grades 6-8, Let's Talk teaches students about four different communication styles (Passive, Aggressive, Passive-Aggressive, and Assertive communication), including the definition of each style, how to identify each style in various scenarios, and how to use healthy, assertive communication to advocate for themselves and others.

Social Media Safety: To Share or Not to Share?

Designed for grades 6-8, Students will learn responsible information sharing and what happens to information sent and received online.  Students will be presented with real life social media scenarios to encourage thought before action.

Stress Management: Solutions in Thinking

Designed for grades 6-12, Solutions in Thinking provides an overview of thought processes that can lead to greater stress and techniques to address those processes.

Stress Management: One, Two, Three Breathe 

Designed for grades 6-12, this interactive presentation teaches students how to create a stress management plan and practice different techniques to reduce stress.
