If peace begins with me,
Then I solemnly promise
To promote peace here at school
In what I say and what I do.

I’ll begin with respect
By not allowing rumors to spread
Not gossiping or name-calling
Giving insults or rude remarks.

I’ll support those who are targets
And restrain myself from fighting
While expecting others to do the same.
I’ll be an example by doing the right thing.

Should I forget or decide not to keep the peace,
I promise to correct any mistakes and agree
To ask forgiveness and begin again,
Because peace begins with me.
