WHO WE ARE
BJC School Outreach and Youth Development provides health prevention education and career exploration opportunities for K-12th grade youth. Our interactive programs equip young people with health knowledge and skills needed to make informed decisions around health behaviors and academic success.

This week-long camp for seventh and eighth graders explores career opportunities in nursing, radiology, pharmacy, respiratory care and more through interactive activities.

In delivering our programs, we aim to increase our strength as a regional leader in health prevention; our dedication to continuous improvement and our commitment to national health standards.

This two-day conference is offered to school nurses and other community-oriented health professionals that are interested in learning about new and current health information for school-aged children.

IN THE NEWS

Learning to drive. Applying for a job. Making the varsity team. Taking a leadership position in a school club. Standardized testing. Preparing for college visits. Going to prom. Graduation. These activities are common rites of passage for many high school juniors and seniors. While it's important to anticipate these milestones, don't overlook a valuable opportunity: student job shadowing.

BJC School Outreach and Youth Development is bringing change to the St. Louis community - together with a number of city neighborhoods, including Bevo Mill, Carondelet, Carr Square, The Ville/Greater Ville, Forest Park Southeast and Shaw.
